The Reason for Tiredness

So I thought I would get in shape for our wedding buy going for a run in the mornings. So the alarm gets set to wake me up, 6:30 might not sound that early, but for a guy who was waking up just in time to be late for work, it's early.

The worst thing though is that the dog has grown accustomed to going out a lot, to the point where she will sit at the door and whine, spot on when my favourite TV show starts and keep going right to the end. Also if not taken for a run on any particular day, I get an untimely reminder that I may have forgotten to do so.

I don't think my shading skills capute the cuteness of this all black dog though. How can you say no to a face that looks like that?

My Fiancee

This is Harriot my Fiancee. She caught on fire last night. Well she was wearing my Hawkeye inspired dressing gown and be wonderful she thought she would cook us some dinner, the sleeve touched the flame from the stove top and before she new it she was on fire!

Nothing to serious, I was there at hand and managed to put her out fairly quickly with my hands before it reached her hair. My adrenalin was pumping afterwards, but it was cool. Last night I became a fireman! Another thing to tick off the list before my time on this earth expires. I always wanted to be a fireman.

My Brother Has a Mac

And I want one too, a mac that is. Not just for the good design, fantastic interface, simplicity, or the lack of games. Purely for my iPhone. Yeah it syncs OK with my outlook contacts, and itunes is fine on windows, but I really want to develop my own apps, which I can't do in a hassle free way on my PC. I do like to tinker and enjoy the challenge of hacking things to work when they shouldn't. But some times you just want good design, fantastic interface, simplicity, and even the lack of games sometimes.

We don't look as similar as my drawings make out, maye his art is better. I will put up some of my non-iphone art up on here some time soon.

I Drive To Work

So yeah, I sing in the car, sometimes... Being technically inclined I tried to find the best blend of power, fun, economy, practicality, style and in my budget when I purchased my car late last year. The good sound system was just a bonus.

I drive around 30km to and from work everyday, drop my fiancee off every morning, and the slightly long hours in tech prohibit me from picking her up most nights. Its a good thing I enjoy driving, but no one likes traffic.

Damn I am Hungry!

A day behind a desk can get to you. Although there is somewhat a lack of physical activity, the human body still requires sustanance, especially those thinking organs! But damn does it suck when you run out :(

My Purple Shirt and Tie

Being an IT or technical guy doesn't save you from long, uninteresting business meetings and today was no exception. I try to fill my time trying not to murder people or jump out the window. I figure this is how I can be most productive in these situations.

A Star is Born!

So I started this new blog today, slightly inspired by a drawing I did, making a cartoon over the top of a picture of my girlfriend, adding cute captions and all that. I may not be a star yet, but one day I hope to be jettisoned off this plannet and maybe for a fraction of a second twinkel in the sky like one.
